One key ability when working with options flow is being able to filter and separate the unusual orders from the normal average flow. With our unusual flow feed, you can do just that! We have successfully taken the time to automatically filter and isolate those orders from the main flow feed that are a considered unusual, and place this data into its own feed known as our Unusual Flow Feed. This flow feed is contained of exclusive options orders that are deemed unusual by our specific set of conditions and parameters. This helps with filtering out only the significant options orders that get picked up through the flow radar for things like higher-than-average premium, size, and total daily inflow.
The Unusual Flow Feed can be used to your advantage in many different ways by pin-pointing the specific orders that are signaled as unusual by our automated system. This feature allows you to view only the significant flow out of the entire feed to give you an easier way to track heavy inflow. Here are just a few of the ways you can utilize our Unusual Flow Feed:
The Unusual Flow Feed makes it easier than ever to track only orders that are deemed unusual by our calculations, and orders that provide the best insight into possible directional movement. For example, instead of watching the normal live flow feed and filtering the results manually to find orders that unusual compared to the rest of the flow, you can instead go to this page and analyze ONLY Unusual Options Flow in real-time!
With having all 'Unusual' orders grouped together, it makes it easy to find direct imbalances for specific tickers. For example if you filter for specific tickers on the Unusual Flow Feed, you can visually notice some of the heavy premium & volume blocks that could be used for further analysis or assist with trade management in various ways.
Our unusual flow feed can be entirely filtered to only show options flow that is consistent with the filtered conditions and parameters. To filter specific data values, you can click the filter button next to all filterable column headers. This will allow you to type in specific conditions to filter the flow by and will update dynamically to whatever is set.
